This was a case of "casting pearls before swine", I have zero grounding in Shakespeare, a fact which BBC didn't take into account when releasing this DVD. I'm sure I'm not alone and others "out there" would have appreciated some background before attempting to watch this. The production was kind of spartan but I would guess it wasn't thought to be a ratings champ.
