Very interesting...I loved the Elizabethinan feel that it gives. I am fascinated by the Tudors era. But I like the message most of all. She searched to find herself in where she thought she should be but soon discovered it was were she started all along at home.

if you like reading historical fiction you would really enjoy reading this book, like myself, but if you don't like reading historical fiction you probably wount enjoy reading the book as much.

I am not a real fan of historical fiction, but this book was great. I am so happy that this book wasn't just a bunch of facts attached to a made up character and then called historical fiction. I originally checked this book out because I had to read a historical fiction novel for school, and I was not excited about it since I am more geared toward reading fantasy or science fiction novels. Once I got into this book, though, it was hard to put it down. This book has it all: romance, suspense, and mystery. I haven't read many historical fiction books, but this is definitely my favorite.

I read this and was pretty disappointed. The writing is really...abrupt (hard to explain) and the story wasn't particularly compelling or easy to follow.
