Very cute book. A little young for my kids but my super reluctant reader got to speed through and enjoy an easy read with an expression-filled voice! I feel like a younger child could be encouraged to make their own book based on this formula after reading it.

This is a really good book that everybody should read!

This book is so much fun to read to 3 -5 year olds. They love joining in with Nicholas as he shouts, 'You're in the wrong book'. I think many kids would relate to his frustration of not being heard.

Funny, superbly illustrated children's picture book about a cast of odd characters who invade the "wrong" book!

I love all of Nick Bland's books and this one is no exception. Love the slightly twisted sense of humour! Kids will enjoy the illustrations of the people/things that keep showing up and parents will enjoy little Nicholas's facial expressions as the book progresses!

Another great books for storytime programs...the poor boy gets more and more exasperated with every page!

Poor Nicholas Ickle is trying to tell his story but he is continually interrupted by other storybook characters who just show up. He valiently (although grumpily) continues, only to be interrupred again. A whimsically, sarcastic tale of a story gone wrong. Fun for adults and kids.
